Dental specialists complete two to six extra years of training after dental school and usually work on referral from a general dentist, although most accept patients who call directly. Orthodontists straighten teeth with braces and clear aligners; endodontists handle root canals; periodontists treat gum disease and place implants; oral and maxillofacial surgeons extract wisdom teeth, place implants and do jaw surgery, often under IV sedation; prosthodontists rebuild smiles with crowns, bridges and dentures; denture centers focus on full and partial dentures, relines and repairs. Sedation and hospital dentists serve anxious patients and people with special needs, while TMJ and sleep-apnea dentists make oral appliances for jaw pain and snoring.

Dr. Kass, Ashley and the entire staff were fabulous for my root canal. They put me at ease immediately with straightforward information about what to expect and the entire process was pain free. I really appreciated Dr. Kass's explanation of the procedure all along the way. I highly recommend this practice. Thank you for the best experience I could have under the circumstances!

If there were more stars available I would use them all. By far the best experience at a dental office I have had in my life. The doc and staff were phenomenal, quick to the point, very professional, always with a smile in their face, I was in and out in no time. My root canal was painless. I never thought I would say this about a dental office but I absolutely loved the experience.

Dr. Kass is a wizard when it comes to root canals!!! The staff was fantastic at what they do, and very friendly. I stopped in to schedule an appointment, and they were able to squeeze me in same day. From start to finish it was hands down one of the LEAST painful dental experiences I've ever had. I have literally had cleanings that were more painful. 10/10 would and will recommend!!!!
